“An Inward Path Towards World Peace: Using Music Infused with Dialogue” Facilitated by Samantha Sinai (Sam S), cellist and music therapist

The political climate in America over the past several years has been extremely challenging for many. What if there was a way to move through some of that tension inwardly as a part of our collective path forward? As activist and author adrienne maree brown so eloquently states, ‘what we practice at a small scale can reverberate to the largest scale’. Join us in this workshop to explore, through music and conversation, how we can become curious about our beliefs to create openings for more compassion for ourselves and for our world.

This event is co-sponsored by Common Sounds, CORE, and Focus on Facilitation.

Friday, June 21st, from 9:00am-12:00pm
Madison Area Technical College; 1701 Wright Street, Main Building, Room E3850

We recommend guests park in the visitor lot, cross Anderson St., and enter the main building via the Gateway. Then take any elevator to the third floor; “E”-rooms are on the farthest end of the building from the Gateway entrance.
