CORE evolved as a collaborative project of area change-makers. We are now solely funded by the Katz-Krantz Family Philanthropies, and managed by Julie Andersen and Becca Krantz, in collaboration with our fiscal sponsor, the Center for Community Stewardship.

CORE began in 2010 as a project to bring nonprofit leaders, consultants, and funders together to improve the way we work together for change.
Over the years, CORE has experimented with a variety of programs, including consultant networking, match-making between organizations and consultants, and matching funding to support capacity-building projects.
