Why the body:
a brief introduction to
generative somatics
We want to heal our bodies so we can be more effective in our work towards social justice. Generative Somatics has been a source of some of that healing for the facilitators. Owen Karcher (The Center for Community Healing), Liz Bruno (Collaborative Massage), and Z! Haukeness (Showing Up for Racial Justice andOperation Welcome Home) will invite participants to learn more about generative somatics through demonstration, discussion, and practice.
